Just a reminder that we have our monthly meeting of the Lake Toxaway Community Center
every second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM.
We appreciate the use of the room at the Fire Department during the winter months.

New clients must show proof of current address. They are located in the Old North Toxaway Baptist Church at the corner of Blue Ridge Road and Slick Fisher Road. We are there to help and you will be treated with respect and discretion.
The Library’s bookmobile will visit the following locations on the first Wednesday of every month:,
Quebec Community Center: 10:00 AM to Noon
Lake Toxaway Post Office: 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM
Sapphire Post Office: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
You can pick up or return books at any location .

Do you own a vintage/antique Sewing Machine and want to get it working again?
Plan on attending the "Sewpurty" Work Shop on August 3rd and 4th at the Quebec Community Center
The two day event is hosted by Billie Wilson
1. Disassembling using proper tools, methods, and tricks
2. De-rusting- using Evaporust Rust Remover and other methods
3. Cleaning- using Gojo and/or sewing machine oil, Brasso, etc.
4. Polishing- both paint and bright parts
5. Repairing/replacing electrical components
7. Threading machines without a manual
8. Timing and other necessary adjustments/repairs
9. Making her sew again.
The price for this workshop is $375** per person which will include lunch for both days, all cleaning/polishing supplies and a goodie bag with a brass hammer, Gojo, brass brush, chip brush, tooth brush, cotton swabs, a special tension disc polishing tool that we custom-make, and whatever else we find to give you.
